Temptation

A dim light surrounds me as I say goodbye, (A)
To everything I knew.(B)
There no reason to cry, (A)
I’m just blue.(B)
I ask myself why?(A)
Temptation just grew,(B)
and I got the forbidden fruit.(C)
It wasn’t astute.(C)
